It is with great sorrow that I write this last blog post on behalf of my father. Tim passed away on Wednesday, January 22nd, in Charlottetown, PEI after a short and quickly developing case of brain cancer. He was lucid and pain-free until very near the end, and very grateful for the many comments, voice memos, emails, and other communications from his friends and colleagues around the world during his illness.

His obituary and details of the funeral service will be available on the Belvedere Funeral Home website. There will be a wake on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 and the funeral on Sunday, 2nd February 2025. For this last blog post, my father requested that I post the following picture, which was taken in Kosovo in the early 2000s. He said he didn’t dare tell the NATO forces at the time that he could hardly clear his mind, his best weapon, but he has now.
