I have had the honour of being a visiting scholar at Umeå University on four occasions (2016, 2015, 2009, 2005). During these visits I worked mainly with the Centre for Principal Development, presenting a series of lectures, workshops and seminars at multiple sites around the country. I also had the opportunity to meet with doctoral students at the university, and to engage in collaborative research with colleagues at the CPD. In 2015 I was an invited keynote speaker at the Aktuell skolpolitik conference held in Kiruna, Lappland.
