Appointments & Awards

2016-2020: Board of Directors of the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences – Fédération des sciences humaines. This initial two-year term as Director, Teaching and Learning, commenced in July 2016 and was renewed in 2018.

2019: Meritorious Service Medal. Presented by the Government of Canada. Awarded for services to charity, specifically the Captain Nichola Goddard Foundation.

2010-2013: Canadian Teachers’ Federation Advisory Panel of Academic Experts – appointed for a three-year term.

2010: Distinguished Service Award. Presented by the Canadian Society for the Study of Educational Administration.

2006: Government of Papua New Guinea. 30^th Anniversary of Independence Medal. Awarded for Services to Education.
